As a sommelier, you play a key role in our sommelier team and make a significant contribution to the quality, professionalism and continuity of our wine service and the wine culture at our Familux Resort. With a strong presence in the restaurant, you will provide excellent wine advice, active sales support and exceptional guest experiences. At the same time, you will support the Head Sommelier with technical and operational issues, take responsibility for the daily implementation of the hotel's wine philosophy and contribute to the further development of the sommelier area according to clear professional guidelines.

Your main tasks:

Guest service

• Independent, professional wine advice for guests at a high professional level
• Recommendation of suitable wines for dishes according to defined pairing lines
• Active presence in the evening service with a focus on sales quality, depth of advice and service excellence
• Professional support of the service team in daily restaurant operations
• Looking after demanding guests and special guest situations
  

Professional role in the sommelier team

• Active support and professional guidance of junior sommeliers and service staff in day-to-day service
• Ensuring the implementation of the defined wine, service and quality standards
• Participation in in-house events, tastings and events
• Technical contact person in day-to-day operations in the absence of the Head Sommelier
  

Supporting the Head Sommelier

• Collaboration in the maintenance and updating of the wine list and information materials according to technical specifications
• Support with tastings, selections and preparatory work
• Assistance with operational and administrative wine issues (e.g. bottling, refills, inventories, controls)
  

Standards & Development

• Implementation of the defined guest service standards, quality and wine standards according to specifications
• Compliance with hygiene and safety standards
• Representation of the hotel's wine philosophy in daily contact with guests
• Participation in internal training and professional knowledge transfer within the team

Our requirements for you:

Professional qualifications

• Completed diploma sommelier training (Austria, IHK, WSET Level 3 or comparable) or equivalent, several years of professional experience with upscale wine service
• Several years of professional experience in the service and wine sector of the upscale hotel or catering industry is required
• Very good knowledge of service, wine knowledge, champagne and beverage knowledge
• Very good knowledge of German and English, other languages desirable

As a bartender you will ensure a professional service at the bar and contribute significantly to an unforgettable guest experience. You will work closely with the Bar Manager and the F&B team, assist in maintaining standards and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Your main tasks:

• Professionally serving and assisting guests at the bar
• Preparing drinks, cocktails and coffee specialties according to recipes and standards
• Ensuring quality, hygiene and safety standards (incl. HACCP)
• Support with stock control, orders and use of materials
• Participation in events, special promotions and tastings
• Supporting the bar manager with process and workflow controls
• Maintaining the bar areas and ensuring order and cleanliness

Our requirements for you

Professional qualifications:

• Completed training in the hotel and catering industry or relevant experience in the bar area

As a Chef de Rang, you are responsible for the operational management of your own service station and make a significant contribution to delivering a professional, warm, and high-quality guest experience.

You work closely with the Chef de Service and the Restaurant Manager, ensure the consistent implementation of Familux service and quality standards, and maintain structure, smooth service flow, and clear team coordination within your station.

You are the first professional point of contact for your assigned service team (e.g. Commis de Rang) and, as a host, ensure attentive, professional, and service-oriented care for our guests.

 
Your Main Responsibilities:

• Operational management of your assigned service station, including mise en place, service flow, and follow-up duties
• Professional welcoming and attentive care of guests
• Taking food and beverage orders and coordinating the entire service flow within your station
• Professional wine service in close coordination with the sommelier team, without taking on sommelier-specific advisory or sales responsibilities
• Confident and skilled serving of food and beverages
• Guiding, supporting, and quality-checking assigned team members (e.g. Commis de Rang, Demi Chef de Rang)
• Ensuring compliance with all service, quality, and hygiene standards, as well as maintaining cleanliness and order within your station
• Professional handling of guest requests and concerns within your area of responsibility
• Participation in service briefings and involvement in training sessions and internal quality initiatives

Professional Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training in gastronomy/hospitality or many years of service experience
• Several years of experience in upscale service (4- or 5-star level)
• Solid basic knowledge of professional wine service
• Knowledge of modern service techniques and handling of food & beverages
• Confident use of POS systems (e.g. Micros) and understanding of operational processes
• Knowledge of hygiene and quality standards
