New paths in the hotel industry
We listened to our employees and conducted a large, cross-group survey regarding the wishes and satisfaction of our 670 employees.
At the top of the wish list of the 1,080 responses in the questionnaires is a good work-life balance, which has prompted us to offer a 4-day week in our hotels in Tyrol and Upper Austria from the start of the 2022 winter season. This means 40 hours split over four days and three days off for all those who wish to do so. (only possible if no staff room is needed)

Tipping usually only benefits those good spirits who are in daily contact with our guests. We wanted to change this in the interests of transparency and fairness for everyone! With our house tip system, we now ensure that all helpful Familux employees have access to it.
With an envelope in the room for our guests, we give our employees better and, above all, fair and transparent access to the house tips. This can either be deposited at the front office or a QR code can be used to access a ready-made landing page for online payment. We then divide this fairly among the employees and have been able to more than DOUBLE the tips in recent months!
Tips that are handed to you personally remain yours, of course.

50% of the Sunday hourly wage is paid out monthly as an additional bonus if you work on Saturday and Sunday.

120 electric vehicles belong to the members of our Familux Family. Hyundai Kona E, Kia e-Niro and BYDs are parked in the employee car parks at all Familux Resorts.
From one year of membership, every employee has the opportunity to drive a Familux e-car. (depending on availability)
This gives all our employees cheaper access to an electric car. (can also be used privately)

We have introduced a new remuneration model to promote our employees in the region.
The model enables individual, performance-based payment. The aim is to increase employee satisfaction and motivation and thus also increase guest satisfaction.
Sales and quality premium
We have been working on the implementation of performance-related bonuses in the background for over a year and are now delighted to present the result and the implementation to you.
From 1 April 2024, there will be a quarterly revenue bonus for the service, bar and spa departments.
To ensure that the kitchen, kids’ club, housekeeping, reception, reservations and building services departments also have the opportunity to receive a performance-related bonus, we have decided in favour of a quality bonus.
