Your Main Responsibilities
Loving, responsible, and age-appropriate care for children of different age groups
Active planning and implementation of play, creative, movement, and experience-based activities (indoor & outdoor)
Support with events – assisting in the organization and execution of children’s parties, shows, and special Kids Club events
Ensuring a structured, safe, and clean childcare environment in compliance with all hygiene and safety standards
Building trusting relationships with children and parents and maintaining professional communication with families
Observing children’s development and responding sensitively to individual needs, moods, and group dynamics
Close collaboration within the childcare team
Support with organizational processes in the Kids Club (daily structure, material care, order and tidiness)
Professional, calm, and solution-oriented handling of challenging situations, conflicts, or parental feedback
What We Expect from You
Professional Qualifications:
Completed training in a pedagogical field is an advantage (e.g. early childhood education, social pedagogy, childcare) or a comparable qualification
Alternatively: proven professional experience in childcare (e.g. kindergarten, kids club, holiday care, hospitality)
Experience working with different age groups (ideally from toddlers to school-age children)
Basic knowledge of developmental psychology, group pedagogy, and age-appropriate activities
Solid understanding of safety, hygiene, and supervision responsibilities
First aid certification (ideally first aid for children)
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holiday periods
Personal Qualities:
Warm, patient, and empathetic personality with genuine joy in working with children
High sense of responsibility and strong safety awareness
Creativity, initiative, and enthusiasm
Team-oriented, reliable, and structured working style
Resilience, calmness, and confidence in lively or challenging situations
Strong communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
Positive attitude, natural authority, and role-model behavior
Very good German skills; good English skills are an advantage
