Some of your tasks:

• Conducting swimming lessons for children and teenagers—from beginner swimming to advanced techniques
• Providing individual guidance to develop the swimming abilities of our young guests
• Teaching water safety rules and building trust in the water
• Organizing fun and educational swimming games and activities

 
What we expect from you:

• Training or certification as a swimming instructor (e.g., lifeguard, ÖWR, or equivalent qualification)
• Enjoyment of working with children and a friendly, patient personality
• Responsibility and reliability as a matter of course
• Team spirit and willingness to live the resort’s philosophy
• Proficiency in German, both spoken and written
• Legal right to work in Austria

Compensation according to Familux Pay starts at €2,270 gross per month for 40 hours/week (overpayment depending on qualifications).

Whether on exciting treasure hunts, fun craft sessions, or thrilling outdoor adventures – as a caregiver, you are the hero of the day, creating magical moments and making sure every child feels right at home with us.

As an empathetic, responsible, and energetic personality, you combine professional childcare with a genuine host mentality. The focus is not merely on supervision, but on providing high-quality, age-appropriate, and respectful support throughout the children’s daily routine – always in line with the Familux values of safety, quality, and warmth. You are not just a caregiver, but also a playmate, storyteller, and creative mind.

 
Your Main Responsibilities

• Loving, responsible, and age-appropriate care for children of different age groups
• Active planning and implementation of play, creative, movement, and experience-based activities (indoor & outdoor)
• Support with events – assisting in the organization and execution of children’s parties, shows, and special Kids Club events
• Ensuring a structured, safe, and clean childcare environment in compliance with all hygiene and safety standards
• Building trusting relationships with children and parents and maintaining professional communication with families
• Observing children’s development and responding sensitively to individual needs, moods, and group dynamics
• Close collaboration within the childcare team
• Support with organizational processes in the Kids Club (daily structure, material care, order and tidiness)
• Professional, calm, and solution-oriented handling of challenging situations, conflicts, or parental feedback

 
What We Expect from You

Professional Qualifications:

• Completed training in a pedagogical field is an advantage (e.g. early childhood education, social pedagogy, childcare) or a comparable qualification
• Alternatively: proven professional experience in childcare (e.g. kindergarten, kids club, holiday care, hospitality)
• Experience working with different age groups (ideally from toddlers to school-age children)
• Basic knowledge of developmental psychology, group pedagogy, and age-appropriate activities
• Solid understanding of safety, hygiene, and supervision responsibilities
• First aid certification (ideally first aid for children)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holiday periods

Personal Qualities:

• Warm, patient, and empathetic personality with genuine joy in working with children
• High sense of responsibility and strong safety awareness
• Creativity, initiative, and enthusiasm
• Team-oriented, reliable, and structured working style
• Resilience, calmness, and confidence in lively or challenging situations
• Strong communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
• Positive attitude, natural authority, and role-model behavior
• Very good German skills; good English skills are an advantage

Your caring and responsible manner allows parents to enjoy their vacation - knowing that their children are in the best hands with you.

Some of your tasks:

• Meeting the children's care needs (e.g. changing diapers, feeding)
• Accompanying and supervising the children as they play together and carry out program activities
• Trusting, close contact with parents - you inform them about their children's daily routine and respond to individual wishes and needs
• Promoting development - you support the babies' motor and sensory development through age-appropriate handling, games and activities

A matter of course for you anyway:

• Training in childcare or comparable experience in caring for babies and toddlers
• Empathy and a loving, patient manner
• You recognize the needs of the little ones quickly and respond to them
• A sense of responsibility and reliability - the safety of the children always comes first
• Good communication skills and you enjoy working with parents
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility
