Together with top chef Mike Süsser, we’re creating a new à la carte restaurant at the Dachsteinkönig that offers creative and modern interpretations of high-quality, regional ingredients. A stylish, cozy atmosphere and a live cooking experience over an open fire make a visit to Firedeck a true highlight for all the senses.

To ensure this project becomes the culinary centerpiece of our resorts, we’re looking for you: a motivated assistant chef (m/f/d) who, with a passion for high-quality ingredients, team spirit, and dedication, will help delight our guests night after night.

Job Objective:

As an assistant chef, you’ll be an important part of our kitchen team at the new Firedeck. Together with the head chef and sous chef, you’ll ensure that our guests enjoy memorable culinary moments. You’ll assist with the preparation and cooking of our dishes, and your dedication will help ensure that everything runs smoothly in the kitchen.

Your main responsibilities:

• Assisting the head chef and sous chef with daily kitchen operations
• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes according to specified recipes and standards
• Mise en place for daily kitchen operations
• Careful handling of fresh, regional, and high-quality ingredients
• Sharing responsibility for cleanliness and order throughout the kitchen area
• Assisting with the receipt, storage, and inspection of food items
• Active participation during service and support for the entire kitchen team
• Compliance with and monitoring of all HACCP hygiene and quality standards

• Completed training as a chef or initial professional experience in the restaurant industry

Minimum salary under the collective bargaining agreement (LG 4): €2,175.70 gross per month on a full-time basis. Higher pay may be offered depending on qualifications and experience.
