Job Objective:
As a Chef de Rang, you’re a passionate host and are responsible for your own service station. Together with our Head Sommelier and the kitchen team, you’ll ensure that our guests enjoy a first-class evening and feel completely at ease from the very first moment to the very last.
Your main responsibilities:
- Independently managing a service station
- Providing professional advice and service to our guests at the highest level
- Ensuring a smooth service flow throughout the restaurant’s operating hours
- Recommending and selling food and beverages
- Working closely with the kitchen and the head sommelier
- Preparing and cleaning up the dining area
- Contributing to the creation of special culinary and guest experiences
- Responsibility for the wine cellar, orders, inventory, and cost of goods sold
- Ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and hygiene

Job Objective:
Firedeck teams and support the kitchen with all tasks as they arise. Through your efforts, you’ll ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so our guests can enjoy a special culinary experience.

- Assisting the kitchen team with prep work for daily kitchen operations
- Helping to prepare simple dishes and side dishes
- Washing, cutting, and preparing ingredients

Job Objective:

Job Objective:

Purpose of the Position:
As Sous Chef, you’ll be our Executive Chef’s right-hand person and support him in the day-to-day management of the Firedeck. Together with the team, you’ll ensure that everything runs smoothly in the kitchen, guarantee compliance with our quality standards, and actively contribute to implementing the culinary concept at the highest level.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the entire kitchen operation
- Actively participating in the implementation of the à la carte concept and the dishes co-developed by Mike Süsser
- Acting as the Head Chef’s representative in his absence
- Actively participating in day-to-day operations and ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly
- Providing professional guidance, support, and training to staff and apprentices
- Assisting with ordering supplies, monitoring food costs, and conducting inventory counts
- Actively participate in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes and their attractive presentation
- Assisting with shift schedules, organization, and optimization of internal processes

Purpose of the Position:
As Head Sommelier & Host, you’ll be the central figure in Firedeck’s service team. With your expertise, you’ll shape the restaurant’s wine and beverage culture and play a key role in the success of the new à la carte concept.

- Responsibility for the entire wine and beverage menu at Firedeck

- Advising our guests on the selection of wines, champagnes, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
