The Winelounge is the independent à-la-carte restaurant of the Alpenrose Familux Resort in Lermoos, and combines restaurant and bar to create an enjoyable space and lively meeting place for guests from the region. As Head Chef, you are responsible for the operational, technical and commercial management of the Winelounge kitchen. You play a key role in shaping the culinary offer, ensure the implementation of quality standards, lead the kitchen team with clarity and motivation and bear full responsibility for the success of the a la carte concept.
Your main tasks:
- Overall operational, technical and organizational responsibility for the kitchen operations
- Planning, implementation and seasonal development of the culinary offer within the strategic framework
- Ensuring stable, efficient processes in day-to-day kitchen operations from mise-en-place to post-processing
- Responsibility for the use of goods, purchasing, warehousing, inventories and economic management of your own area of responsibility
- Active involvement in day-to-day business and management of the kitchen during service (pass, coordination, quality assurance)
- Management, motivation and further development of the kitchen team
- Acting as a role model in daily work - professionally, personally and organizationally
- Creation, planning and monitoring of duty rosters incl. deployment control
- Ensuring and implementing all quality, hygiene and safety standards (incl. HACCP)
- Close cooperation with service, restaurant management, F&B management and Executive Chef for optimal coordination of processes
A matter of course for you anyway:
- Completed training as a chef
- Several years of experience in upscale à la carte gastronomy, ideally as a sous chef or in a comparable operational management role
- Strong professional aplomb in all positions as well as confident management of a kitchen in ongoing service
- Sound knowledge of merchandise management, costing, duty planning, kitchen organization and HACCP
- Ability to manage a kitchen operation independently, in a structured and quality-oriented manner
- Confident handling of common IT applications (e.g. MS Office)
- Routine in the necessary administrative tasks of a kitchen operation
- Mature leadership personality with natural authority and role model effect
- High quality standards, organizational strength and decision-making ability
- Strong hands-on mentality and enjoyment of daily operational presence
- Entrepreneurial thinking in your own area of responsibility
- Strong communication and cooperation skills in collaboration with all interfaces
- Very good written and spoken German, good English skills are an advantage

Remuneration according to Familux Pay (depending on qualifications), but at least € 3,800.00 gross per month at 45 h/week possible
