Generation Z
Generation “Digital Natives”
Generation Z usually refers to young adults born between 1997 and 2012. You are therefore the first generation to have grown up with smartphones. The Maslow pyramid would therefore have to be extended by two basic needs – WiFi and battery.
Gen Z is always accessible and is in constant comparison with the lives of others, especially through social media. Sustainability, fitness, a healthy lifestyle and leisure time are becoming increasingly important.
Short & simple communication channels
You are used to having an immediate answer to all your questions, thanks to Google! But what does that mean for us as employers? Communication must be simple. It must be honest and transparent. And it must be one thing above all: fast. You like to question guidelines and instructions because you want to understand the sense in what you are doing. If it doesn’t make sense to you, everything is done to change the rules. You learned early on to stand up for yourselves and others, and above all to stand up when you see injustice.
We, as employers
The “good reputation of a company” is becoming less and less important to you – because you like to try things out for yourselves and make up your own mind about them, and the willingness to take risks is very high. You are inquisitive, because your life is getting “faster and faster”. You know that the skills you learn today may be outdated tomorrow – so it’s all the more important to keep up to date through training and education in order to remain an expert in your field.
We need people and talents like you. We listen to you. We give you tasks that make sense.
We have created the Familux Academy, with which you can always stay up to date. We work sustainably and integrate digitalisation into everyday working life. We have introduced the four-day week. We give you the opportunity and the space to help shape our resorts. We don’t see you as a challenge, but as an opportunity. Because if we are all honest, the same things are important to you as they are to us.
Never lose your courage to try new things, to stand up, to think innovatively, to point out problems, to be loud and to give yourselves a lot of credit. Only in this way can we all grow together, like one big family.
